The importance of education is never more prominent than when applying for a job. Employers are constantly seeking out the best qualified candidates regardless of the position that they are looking to fill. Some people may feel that education and qualifications aren’t particularly important when looking to work in a manual labour environment such as construction. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth. All jobs require some sort of education and qualifications. Obviously positions such as an IT worker would benefit from an employee with Microsoft certification. It may appear that someone working as a builder would not need anything quite this technical, however, construction workers would benefit greatly from health and safety qualifications and any formal construction courses including things like carpentry or brick laying.
